Here’s a round-up of our favorite new features:

Individual cabinet styles and colors – now you can change the materials, color, and/or style on individual cabinets.
New Shaker style cabinets – do you love Shaker style as much as we do? With our new Shaker cabinets, you can try out this style in your dream kitchen.
More cabinet door styles and storage options – we’ve added other popular door styles like flat-front and glass, plus new storage types like drawer-style base cabinets, corner cabinets, and additional size options.
Countertops – find more of your favorite materials, such as quartz, marble, porcelain, travertine, and granite.
Appliances – built-in microwaves, ovens, and much more.
Kitchen sinks – whether you prefer under-mount, drop-in, or farmhouse/apron style sinks, you’ll find plenty of options.
Islands – use one of our new islands or create your own with our island pieces and countertops.
Range ventilation hoods – lots of new styles.
More customization – now you can change the materials/color on individual components. Want a different color counter on the island than the rest of the kitchen? Check! Want to change the material on a faucet and sink? You can!

Individual Cabinet Styles and Colors

Your top requested feature is here! Now you can change colors and materials on individual cabinets. Want to see how your kitchen looks with different color upper and lower cabinets?

Or, want to visualize a contrast color on just one cabinet or appliance? You can! With RoomSketcher, it’s easy to see how different colors and materials will change the look of a kitchen.

New Shaker Style Cabinets

Currently the most popular kitchen style, we’ve got lots of Shaker cabinet choices for you! Shaker style works well in both traditional and modern homes.

Plus, if you’ve been dreaming of a farmhouse-style kitchen, then Shaker cabinets may be the style for you.

More Cabinet Door Styles and Storage Options

As well as Shaker, you now have more choices in other popular cabinet door styles such as flat-front and glass. We’ve also added new storage types like drawer storage, tall pantry-style cabinets, and more. You can even mix and match!

This kitchen uses RoomSketcher’s new glass door cabinet style for the upper cabinets, with Shaker cabinets below.

Kitchen Islands

Here’s a gorgeous kitchen with one of our new islands. This kitchen also features RoomSketcher’s new floor-to-ceiling cabinets and built-in appliances.

You can even choose different countertops for the island and the main area – one of our favorite new individual customization features!

To access the new kitchen items, be sure to start a new project (existing projects use the original Classic style cabinets and functionality). In your new project, open Furniture and you’ll find the items in the Kitchen category or by using the search.

To customize individual cabinets, place them in your project, click to select, and then change their individual properties in the pane on the right.
